The Hunting

Enjoy some great bird hunting at Fin & Feather Resort. Hunt ducks in our wild rice bays, creeks and small lakes. The season open in mid September running through early October. Hunt the rice bays in our 18' Lund boats equipped with new pop-open spacious blinds. The versatility of these blinds lets you or our guide position the blind and decoys. Hunt grouse or partridge on nearby game trails and fields. Combine your fall fishing and hunting for a great outdoor experience.
BEAR
Our new BMA is one of the finest in the area and is 99 square miles in size. MNR biologists estimate one Black Bear per square mile, of these 25% being cub producing females. With Fin & Feather's limit of 16 summer/fall bear hunters, a high success rate will always be maintained. The season is from August 15th through September 30. We have professional baiting of all areas to provide active locations. Don't forget to bring your fishing gear for great late Summer and early Fall fishing .
MOOSE
We specialize in guided 7 Day Archery Moose hunting. We have limited tags, so please call for availability.
Your fishing trip to Fin and Feather Lodge is a short drive. We are 120 miles north of International Falls, MN. Take the shortest route to International Falls, MN crossing into Fort Frances. Take Hwy 11/Scott St. east. Stay on Hwy 11 until you reach Hwy 502 (about 15 miles). Turn north on 502, go until you reach Ojibway Dr. (about 90 miles). Turn left, go to the first stop sign (Hwy 594). Turn left on Hwy 594 until you come to stop sign (Cascade Road). Turn left on Cascade, go about a mile to the Resort (follow the signs).
